The three Hawaii/Oceania DX Internet Archive pages shown here are dedicated to Dr. Richard E. Wood, a good friend I met in person August 1986. REWs very lovely, quiet home QTH/location was very quiet with only birdsong and surf-sounds just 200m away. Good views of Pu'u O'o (new cinder-cone volcanic-eruption) was visible 20 km to the west-southwest (on the East Rift Zone) with orange glows upon the clouds above it. I enjoyed Beverage MW-DXing from locations (in a car) NOW GONE (Kamoamoa HVNP; Royal Gardens) - innundated by new lava-flows throughout 1986-present, covering over Royal Gardens and a lot of South Puna such as Kamoamoa in HVNP where I enjoyed DXing in 1991, all covered-over too!

Aurora in Alberta Canada 13 Aug 2000 at about 0200 MDT - Energy and particles from the Sun impacts Earth's Magnetosphere and generates lovely Aurora and Natural-Radio Signals - the radio sounds of "Space Weather."
