~4060 kHz (VFO): Inyo County, Calif., 'TR' ident in CW when op goes on trips; AM music when op. takes bike rides, etc. plays music some mornings around sunrise or a bit after for a while, 250 mW carrier - 500 mW PEP to inv. vee. (was 6710 formerly).

4097.2 kHz: 55 dashes per minute with chirp when sun is low; day-only, Inyo County, Calif. near DVNP at 5300 ft. elevation ('Inyo-whooper'), inv. vee., 0.5w
4102.3 kHz: 'W ...' the WIND BEACON - sends 'W' ident and series of dits - each dit correlating to a turn of its anenometer, so if it is windy in the s.e. California desert, it sends lots of dits; and no wind, no dits. hrd in Canada and in Maryland.
(qrt) 5205.3 kHz: 100 dits/min - Saline Valley, Death VlY N.P., morning-sun-only to noon., no nights. 0.5 watts ('Sally') - suffers bad QRM from 'sweeper' OTH-b radar. NOT HEARD SPRINGTIME 2008 - OFF AIR NOW due to unk. reason - probably animal damage.
5484.0 kHz: 'TSN' so. Arizona - intermittent - when op. goes on trips then 24/7.
5499.1 kHz: s.e. Washington - The SE Washington dasher on 5499.1 is reportedly 85 mW; hrd in Oregon.
~6626.4 kHz: fast 'drippy' sounding dits about 100/min., Mojave N.P., sun-only, 1.5 watts ('Rainy') - really gets out well.

8001.5 kHz: 'S' s.w. Arizona, sun-only, 1 watt. strong signal daytimes
8211.6 kHz: about 62 dashes per min., n.e. Oregon 24/7 - new, good sig. 200 mW max.-hidden in forest.
